As fall approaches, staff and students eagerly prepare for Halloween, with the majority planning to dress up and decorate. Many, like Delaney and Yasmin Madkor, are excited to participate in the costume tradition. At the same time, several staff members, including Miss.Irwin Mr.Pubentz, and Mrs.Tournoux, also plan to dress up, specifically Pubentz states, “Oh yeah I’m dressing up, my oldest is dressing up as Luna Lovegood and I’m going to be Snape alongside her.”Halloween decorations, ranging from spooky to nostalgic, are a key part of the celebration, with some staff like Mr.Pubentz embracing themes like “Welcome, Great Pumpkin” from the beloved peanuts show. Alongside the Halloween excitement, favorite fall drinks and foods come into play, with apple cider pumpkin chai, and pumpkin spice donuts topping the list. Traditions like visiting Pattersons, apple picking, and carving pumpkins further highlight the season’s charm, while classic fall treats such as apple cakes, pumpkin rolls, and Thanksgiving meals round out the fall experience.
