WQ: Positive attitudes represent Mayfield
December 11, 2015
Of the many words that describe Mayfield High School students, positive is one of them.
When it comes to Mayfield High School Students, they always have positive attitude when it comes to going to school, taking tests and even sporting events.
One of the reasons that Mayfield is positive is because every student has an overall positive outlook. Senior Daniel Bosoy believes just that. He said, “We always have a positive outlook on life.”
Education is also very important. Senior Matthew Yokosuk said positive describes Mayfield “because of the pride we have in our education.”
Another reason that Mayfield students are positive is because they will always work hard and never stop, even if the challenge ahead of them may be difficult. Max Zarin, a senior, agrees with this. He said, “Positive describes a Mayfield student because even when things aren’t going their way, they approach everything with a positive attitude.”
Of course, both staff and administrators contribute to creating a positive attitude in the school. They help every student learn, and are always happy to help when a student needs help or does not understand something.
Senior Alivia Tabb said, “With the help of teachers and Mr. Legan, we are provided with a great learning environment and we are able to stay positive and keep going, even when we encounter challenging situations.”
Not only do the students use the help of teachers to better themselves, they also study and work hard each and everyday. Moreover, they are also positive when it comes to other events, like sports.
Vineet Reddy supported this. He said, “The students are always ready to learn and have a good attitude when it comes to going to school, studying, and [attending or playing in] sports.”
Overall, Mayfield students stay positive no matter what. They also never stop helping each other. If there is someone who needs help, whether a peer or a teacher, Mayfield High School students always help and treat them with kindness and respect.
Marshall Krajcirik is a senior. He said, “Mayfield students are always helping one another. [They] always make everyone feel like a family.”
All of these reasons are why Mayfield High School is a positive place to be.
