Sophomore Victor Popoviciu can hardly go a day without talking about anime.

Popoviciu began watching the Japanese cartoons in the sixth grade after a seemingly harmless introduction. “Someone told me to watch anime and then I watched it… and I haven’t stopped watching,” he said.

His addiction to anime is one almost all of his colleagues are familiar with, and it may come as a shock to them to hear he hasn’t binged any of the shows for a few weeks now. The reasoning, however, is more feasible. Popoviciu said, “[It’s] because I ran out of all the animes to watch.”
