Jose Mendez looks those who don’t have spirit straight in the eye and laughs.

The week prior to Mayfield’s annual rivalry game against Brush, students got the chance to compete with the incentive of showcasing their school spirit. Yet, a rundown on all the students who showcased their spirit isn’t even necessary when Jose Mendez walked through the door day one with a head-to-toe GREEN dinosaur pajama on stylishly wrapped in a GREEN cardigan.

“This fine outfit was not a ‘wake up and run out the door’ kind of thing,” Mendez said. “but more so it was all planned out in advanced.”

As the week progressed he topped hats on to hats, dressed ready to recover the Crystal Skull by wearing a brown leather jacket and trousers portraying himself as Indiana Jones.

“Movie character day was probably my favorite day of the week,” Mendez said. “It just gave me the most freedom for what I wanted to wear.”

Finally Mendez closed the week splattered in shades of purple for Thursdays Color wars and Mayfield apparel on Friday in hopes to influence the football players to destroy Brush which as a whole the Wildcats became successful with due to the glorious win on Friday.
