Mayfield teacher’s tests snatched by criminal

When Bob Gynn woke up on Friday, Nov. 11, he never knew he would be facing a math teacher’s worst nightmare: all his ungraded papers had been stolen.

The high school teacher’s Honda Odyssey was stolen from his Hudson driveway overnight. A week later, the vehicle was found abandoned in Mentor. Gynn was relieved to find that the tests had remained safe in the back of the van. “The tests were still there but the guy didn’t even have the decency to grade them,” said Gynn.

However, Gynn has some good news. He said, “Although I had to wait a week to grade the tests, I might get a new car. I’m still holding out for that Lamborghini.”
