Sophomore Jason Stafford has already decided that he wants to become a professional wrestler when he gets older.

Stafford did not generate this dream when he was young like many children but only a couple years ago. He said, “I was just watching it on TV one time and I’m like, ‘I might want to to do this’ and if you want an influence, then I guess I can say Brock Lesnar, CM Punk, Triple H, the big guys.”

He says what inspires him are his role models in wrestling itself. He said, “Again, I’m going to have to go with those same couple guys just ‘cause I’ve seen them on TV all the time. I’ve seen The Undertaker live. I saw Goldberg live. I’ve seen Lesnar three times.”

Although Stafford only formed the idea of wrestling for a career, he still has a series of steps that he will follow to get there. He said, “I’ve already started my plan and what I’m going to do is: I’m gonna try to find time to hit a gym; I’m gonna, I’ll probably need a car, ‘Do I need a car’, I may or may not need a car and then just get some money which I’m pretty much almost there already so just get all the little stuff out of the way.”

Stafford has enjoys a multitude of different benefits of wrestling, some for the present and some for when he gets into the industry. He said, “For what I do now, it’s probably just getting out of the house and doing something.”
“For wrestling [as a career], it’s just fame, money and you get to travel pretty much the world.”

He enjoys the very wrestling industry in that he would still consider being around it as a backup if he couldn’t get into the ring. He said, “Trust me, there’s ways to get into this business that aren’t in the ring. There’s all kinds of stuff; I’m just gonna leave it at that. There’s referees and what not, commentators, all that stuff.”

Stafford’s dream began not so long ago but he is determined to go into the wrestling field. He said, “It’s something that I want to do and I’m going to get there someway, somehow.”
