Due to the warm temperatures this week and inconsistent air conditioning in classrooms, principal Jeff Legan allowed staff to wear shorts. For the first time in years, juniors were also not invited to the Honors Assembly in the auditorium to avoid overheating that space.

Ben Peters, Staff Writer

Ben Peters is a senior and this is his first year on the Paw Print staff.

His interest for writing stems from his obsessive reading about Music and Video Games since a young age. Reading IGN.com for game reviews was how he would decide his purchase of a game. For discovering music Ben read album reviews on Pitchfork.com. He decided to write for the Paw Print to begin to write with a purpose in an official capacity--rather than just aimlessly writing in word documents.

In his free time, Ben loves to be with friends, listen to (and talk about) music, and play video games. He also is a member of the Mayfield Swim Team and has been all 4 years of high school. After high school, Ben plans to attend Ohio University's journalism school and pursue a career in law following college.
