Due to the warm temperatures this week and inconsistent air conditioning in classrooms, principal Jeff Legan allowed staff to wear shorts. For the first time in years, juniors were also not invited to the Honors Assembly in the auditorium to avoid overheating that space.

Emily Steffey, Staff Writer

Emily Steffey is a staff member of The Paw Print.

Steffey is a junior involved in Girls Varsity Swimming. She enjoys being with her teammates and going to school functions. Steffey is a very talkative and loves to interact with adults and students she does not know. Club wise, Steffey is involved in The Paw Print because she excels in writing and loves having Mr. Somich as a teacher. Writing allows Steffey to show her opinion on school issues and show off school spirit.

Steffey lives in a house with five members. Mother, Karen Steffey is a Nurse Practitioner and went to Kent State. Father, Jim Steffey is a Police Officer for Mayfield Heights and also went to Kent State. She has two siblings, Riley and Max Steffey who attend DePauw University. Steffey admires her family and loves going out and spending time with them.
