Ariana Chriss is a senior this year at Mayfield High School. This is her second year writing for The Paw Print.

Ariana was first introduced to the world of journalism in Mr. Somich’s Newswriting class during her junior year. As she learned the ins and outs of newswriting, she was eager to join the staff and start reporting for the school.

Aside from writing and her five AP classes, Ariana has many interests and hobbies. Music, especially classic rock (The Doors, the Rolling Stones, the Beatles, etc.), is a passion of hers—she plays guitar (her Fender Telecaster, her prized possession) and loves collecting vinyl records. She also enjoys poetry, film photography, travel, art, movies, and superhero comics. She loves laughing too, so you can bet she’s a fan of anything involving comedy. When the weather is nice, she’s out and about, sightseeing, going to baseball games, and playing softball. But when it comes to academics, she really likes science, as she has always been intrigued by biology.

You can contact Ariana at [email protected].
